Spiritual Warfare

We are all at battle, this I declare
Our struggle is not with the flesh, but spiritual warfare
It is not about beliefs or Christianity
We are responsible for the rise or fall of humanity
Why do we remain nonchalant?
Instead of a staying silent, lets speak out against what we don't want
Its time for a revolution
Before our rights disappear with the constitution
Our nation is morally and fiscally bankrupt
It seems as if there is not one political leader who isn't corrupt
Overachievers have lost their momentum
With accomplishments reaching the bare minimum
It is our talents that we must combine
The intervention we receive shall be divine
There needs to be a change of tactics
Which includes a universal code of morals & ethics
Today will soon become historical
Our actions or lack thereof will be critical
I have no authority, I'm just the talebearer
On these things, we must consult the redeemer
We are embarking on a new era
in which more emphasis shall be placed on the laws of karma
Regardless of ethnic origin or race
Unity is a concept for each of us to embrace
Lets change the way we interact
We have the power to create a huge impact
Join me on this international crusade
Fear no man, but of the Lord, be afraid
Take a stand for what is right
In this dark world, be a shining light
True happiness comes from within
Along with the discernment to recognize and avoid sin
This gift is a blessing
only intended to enhance our spiritual well being
Despite you or I having the best intention
Nothing is learned or gained from inaction
A solid foundation we are here to establish
Leading to prosperity for us to flourish
Success has a domino effect
Although the benefits may be immediate or indirect
Start small with changes that are subtle
In all of your decisions, consider other people
Nobody has the power to change the world alone
Remember the pyramids were built stone by stone
Together we are strong and time is on our side
Lets start a ripple effect and watch it travel worldwide

Love

It is written that many waters cannot quench love & rivers cannot wash it away
We place the risks of love on a scale but still the benefits do outweigh
It is the one thing we all long for
So why do we wear this breastplate of armor?
Some expect loyalty, yet remain unfaithful
denying to themselves, their actions are shameful
We assume infidelity without proof, still we accuse
We pretend our bruises are from love, not abuse
Fear of betrayal leads to distrust
Instead of love, we choose lust
Some perceive love as a financial venture
Others consider it a miracle cure
Just the opposite is true, love will leave you bankrupt
& might affect your health in a manner thats abrupt
The truth is most men want a woman of virtue, someone who isn't easy to pursue
A woman wants a man who is attentive to her needs
Someone she can follow in confidence, while he leads
A key element to this union is communication
Both parties must share a deep level of understanding and equal participation
The kind of love we seek is what we must demonstrate
It is our actions, not our words that others are able to translate
Body language is universal
Regardless if you are a woman, child, man or mammal
Our thoughts are our own
But our hearts are revealed in the love we have shown
Love is not a pleasure thats sexual
It is a connection thats spiritual
Love doesn't care about outward appearance
& doesn't require security clearance
Love is a gift from up above
Far surpassing limits that are unheard of
To love another, you must first love yourself
Life is too short to put your heart on a shelf
Don't miss out on the joy of giving
To love with all of your heart makes life worth living

Overdose

I strongly oppose the overdose of the human race
This disgrace is all too commonplace in an effort to control the populace
Are we in such a deep state of hypnosis
To accept all of these misdiagnosis
and possible prognosis
affecting our psychosis
Lets end the dispose of the prematurely comatose
This I purpose before I decompose
To administer ritalin into children should be a sin
If everyone knew its origin
Would they still accept insulin?
At one time to vaccinate meant to eliminate
So who can claim its not still the same?
How do we comprehend, defend, or reccomend this trend ?
Nurses, although many have hearts that are tender
are often taught to be like that of "the great pretender"
Doctors prescribe drugs they do not know much about
for us to "try out"- if there is a bad "turn out"
be prepared to question that doctors "whereabout"
There is an element which is lacking
That of sincerity
Including appreciation of individualization, integrity, & dignity
which leads to depravity, needless fatality, and "premeditated complexity"
used as a "necessity" to protect identities
Consumer advocacy is labeled as "lunacy"
as the conspiracy of the pharmacy industry gains supremacy

eternally sleeping by *omnia*.
Asleep

It seems as if we, as a people have fallen asleep
Have you ever felt like a lamb in a tribe of lost sheep?
Unwed mothers at fifteen
Born of single parent households where fathers are seldom seen
Too many young boys are growing up without a daddy,
lost without guidance, taught to reproduce and flee
Church buildings big as a colliseum while the homeless sleep on the streets
What about them?
Turn on the news and countries are at war
Does anyone truly know what everyone is fighting for?
We are told about another "insurgent"
Who, when, why, how and what determines who is guilty or innocent?
The lives we lead are reckless
So how can we claim righteousness? with our attitudes of self entitlement
Debt is mounting, but the money has all been spent
No plan in sight to erase the national debt
more "bail outs" issued as job losses increase and sales plummet
Globally the dollar is viewed as monopoly money instead of currency
While the wealthy transplanted their funds and got off scott free
Each one of us is capable of making a difference
There is no need for crime or belligerence
Its time to recognize the signs of trickery
Lets break the chain of mental slavery
It is now time to regain our clarity
examine our sinful lifestyles, end our selfishness and all vulgarity
There is so much to decipher
But only unity will allow us to prosper
We are abundant in resources and knowledge
Is our allegiance to the flag or the people of which we pledge?
How is it possible to have a water shortage when most of the earth is made up of ocean?
Food is as plentiful now as it was in the Garden Of Eden
Human beings will never overpopulate the planet
And time as we know it, can never be reset
Think of all the empty land you see when you are traveling in the sky
& how many would pay if yesterday was something they could buy?
Eliminate confusion, think with your own mind
Using prayer and meditation, the truth is never far behind
Mentally, spiritually, and physically we as a civilization are one giant family
Let us remember what is truly of value
HUMAN KINDNESS instead of revenue

The World

Lets cruise the Nile with perfumed sails like Cleopatra
Enjoy the fountain and flower clocks of Geneva
Tour an ancient castle in Europe as we take sips from an antique teacup
Dance near a bonfire wearing a gardenia lei in Honolulu
Feel the force of gravity at the heights of Peru
Breathe the crisp air and drink the clear water of New Zealand
Marvel at the steep snow covered mountains tops of Switzerland
View the sea of Galilee, embracing its essence, happy and carefree
Ride in a jeep through an African jungle as lions walk by us ready for battle
Swim in the beauty of Fiji,
Rent a villa overlooking the Isle of Capri
Take pictures at night of Hong Kong
Go to an old pub in Ireland and sing a song
See all the wonders of Rio
Get lost in the crowds of Tokyo
Walk the Great Wall Of China
Watch the sun go down in Alaska
Explore the holy places of the promised land
Pick our favorite colorful homes in Iceland
Drive across the London Bridge in England
Spend a night in beautiful Norway, between the hills, facing the waterway
Taste a spicy meal in Ethiopia, Go to the top of the twin towers in Malaysia
Never forget the Great barrier reef heart in Australia
As we return home to Southern California!

A poem for my father 06/09

Flashes occur in my mind of that fateful day
My thoughts stay on rewind and I remember when the angels took you away
Your face so peaceful and free
Your spirit so gentle
I could feel you hovering over me
My tears so heavy and heart broken in two
Still, I feel all alone without you
Even when you could not speak, you always made me smile
I look forward to the day we can once again reconcile
With all of your courage, you gave me so much strength
You beat the odds and always went that extra length
I thank God father Abuna blessed you with holy ointment
How did we know the next day would be when the angels were sent
You chose your birthday as the day to depart
It was your way of letting us know through it all, you were still smart
At times I am so consumed with sorrow
Some days all I do is cry and pray for a better tomorrow
When you left a piece of me went too
I've abandoned all of the dreams I wanted to pursue
Guilt takes hold of me because I know you expected me to be strong
Will I ever be right when everything I do is wrong
I reach out to you spiritually
Wishing for a sign from you letting me know you hear me
I just want to hug you again
I miss taking a walk with you by the fountain
The only comfort I get comes from looking at the moon
You have been gone for six months and now its the end of June
I promise to rise above this pain
I'll smile for you even when the tears come down like rain
Michael Jackson

He was known as the king of pop with ultimate talent
Considered the best performer in the history of entertainment
Unique moves along with his bold style
Whose audiences are from here to the river Nile
The product of a celebrity family
Attacked with vicious rumors & surrounded by a media frenzy
Brokenhearted he was, by the attempts of a character assassination
Still did not change how people felt about him around the world & nation
His music brings us so many memories
He shared with us all of his joys and miseries
Think of “Heal The World” & “Man In The Mirror”
When it came to dance, his moves were like clay & he was the sculptor
We remember the time we heard “I’ll Be There”
A classic piece from a boy who was rare
He was the perfect example of someone who went after his dreams hoping to inspire
Always pushing himself to go higher
His message was usually about love
Children everywhere had to have a shining glove
A very sensitive child he was & man he grew up to be- often misunderstood
Which he claimed was due in part to his childhood
Sacrifices he made for us, his fans
Being in the middle of so many scandals wasn’t a part of his dreams, hopes, or plans
He was a human being, just as you and I
We didn’t expect to lose him like this – there are just some things money can’t buy
A hero and a legend, he will always be
Let us be thankful his spirit has been set free
